History and Historic Sites of the Valley * Then and Now Photos * Lost Crescenta * Rockhaven * Membership and Donations
For almost a century the Workman and Temple families were active in many areas of public life in greater Los Angeles. From the late Mexican era to the Roaring Twenties, members of the families were cattle ranchers and farmers, bankers and business people, and oil and real estate developers. Like most families, they had their ups and downs, successes and failures, but theirs were more public. Hear their story and learn about the historic site museum in the City of Industry that tells that story in the context of the history of the region from Museum Director Paul R. Spitzzeri.
