"Lions and Tigers and Bears! Oh My!"
Our local mountains, although minutes from one of the largest urban centers in the world, are host to several types of large predators. Perhaps the most impressive is the mountain lion, who seems to thrive in the midst of civilization. P22, the mountain lion living in the Hollywood Hills, is an amazing example of this top-end predator's adaptability. This is his story, and the larger story of our most terrifying neighbor, the urban mountain lion. Our presenter, Terri Soderstrom, is a docent at the Los Angeles Zoo.
