Beautiful South Pasadena - The Flower of the Arroyo

Author Rick Thomas will talk about the evolution of one of the prettiest communities in LA - South Pasadena. He'll concentrate on the steps taken by its original settlers to transform it from wilderness into an agricultural and resort Mecca, and eventually into the beautiful suburb it is today.

Rick Thomas is the author of four books on South Pasadena and its history.



Regular meetings are held the third Monday of each month at 7:00 PM at the the Center for Spiritual Living, formerly known as the La Crescenta Church of Religious Science located at the intersection of Dunsmore and Santa Carlotta.
